This mobility aid for hospital use introduced several innovations, but the most beneficial was the attractive design which, unlike traditional wheel chairs, is appealing and does not look like a ‘contraption for disabled people’. Instead it looks like an attractive product anyone would like to use. The design was also thought though in areas such as getting on it from bed height. Further development would help for the propulsion system and testing ergonomic aspects (leg movement etc.) |
